LagatarDesk: Raj Kundra, arrested in pornography case, was presented in the fort court today. The court has ordered to keep Raj Kundra in judicial custody for 14 days. Mumbai Police had demanded from the court to extend the custody of Raj Kundra. It is reported that Raj Kundra’s lawyer has applied for bail to the court. The basis of the bail application is that the investigation is over. Therefore, Kundra should be granted bail.
Raj was arrested by the police on July 19
Let us inform that Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch on July 19 after interrogation. Raj is accused of making obscene films and releasing them on apps. The court had ruled to keep him in judicial custody till July 23. After this, Raj was again produced in the court and he was sent to police custody till July 27.
Raj had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court
According to Raj Kundra, he was arrested without any notice. Regarding this, he filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. Raj has denied all these allegations against himself. They say that whatever videos are available on the app, they fall under the category of erotica, not porn. As such, his arrest is illegal.
