Hyderabad, Nov 6: On its 60th day in Telangana, the “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” organised by Congressman Rahul Gandhi, included activist-lawyer Prashant Bhushan on Sunday.
A leader of the organisation fighting for the classification of SCs, Manda Krishna Madiga, joined the rally that continued this morning from Alladurg in the Medak district, according to party sources.
“It is the 60th Day of #BharatJodoYatra and it began like every morning with Pyari Jan of the Seva Dal from Mysuru leading the singing of the National Song, Dhwaj Geet, & National Anthem. Today we move from Medak to Kamareddy district,” Congress General Secretary, incharge, Communications, Jairam Ramesh said in a tweet.

In his Saturday speech to a crowd in the village of Peddapur in the Medak region, Gandhi said that the country has been experiencing widespread unemployment and price increases since 2014.
According to sources, the foot march began on October 23 and would end on Monday in Telangana.
On Monday in the Kamareddy district, a public meeting will include the MP for Wayanad. On September 7, the Bharat Jodo Yatra kicked off in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.
