New Delhi, June 19: Two more suspects have been arrested in the horrible murder case of two sisters in RK Puram, the Delhi Police announced on Monday.
They have been identified as Kishan Chaudhary (27) and Ganesh Swamy (39).
In total, 5 people have been apprehended thus far in connection with the murder of the two sisters. Arjun, Mickel, and Dev were previously detained in this case.
Delhi Police tweeted, “2 women shot dead in Delhi. 2 more accused, 27-year-old Kishan and 39 year old Ganesh Swamy apprehended. Total 5 nabbed so far in connection with the case. 2 sisters, namely Pinky and Jyoti were shot dead yesterday in RK Puram area by a few assailants over a money settlement issue.”
Earlier deceased bodies of two sisters who were allegedly shot dead early on Sunday morning in Delhi’s Ambedkar Basti neighbourhood during a suspected money settlement case were taken to their home. Pinky (30) and Jyoti (29), the two deceased women, were taken to SJ Hospital but died from their wounds, according to police.
According to the police, more than two dozen men arrived at the victim’s home in Ambedkar Basti early on Sunday morning. The attackers were searching for the victim’s brother Lalit. After Lalit was able to flee, the attackers allegedly shot both of his sisters on purpose.
