New Delhi: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, met with a delegation from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. The delegation was led by Ivo H. Daalder, the Council’s CEO and former US Ambassador to NATO.
The meeting focused on discussions related to global security, strategic partnerships, and key defense priorities. The delegation later also held talks with India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.
The Ministry of Defence shared details of the meeting on its official X handle, stating, “Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh met a delegation from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, including Ambassador Ivo Daalder and distinguished members. Discussions centered around strengthening global security cooperation, strategic partnerships, and key defense priorities. Such productive exchanges enhance international cooperation for a safer future.”
