Rahul Navin to be Acting Director of ED

New Delhi, Sept 15: Rahul Navin will be taking charge as the Acting Director of the ED (Enforcement Directorate). He will handle the post till the appointment of the new director of ED is made.

As the most senior officer, IRS officer Rahul Navin, who belongs to the Income Tax cadre and is a 1993 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, will assume the responsibilities of the new Acting ED Director.

In addition to his role as Special Director, he also serves as the Chief Vigilance Officer of the ED headquarters. Rahul Navin has been entrusted with the responsibility of the ED Director’s position. He hails from Bihar and is known for his skilled and composed demeanour.

He is known to be a man of few words within the investigative agency but is adept at handling the pen. He is known for working meticulously within the bounds of the law and is considered a highly efficient officer.
