Rajasthan: Nine die after car falls off into Chambal river

Kota, Feb 20: Nine people died due to drowning after a car fell off a Chhoti Puliya (Mini bridge) into the Chambal river in Rajasthan’s Kota.

Rajasthan | 9 bodies have been recovered after a car fell into the Chambal river in Kota. Among those who have lost their lives including a groom were going to Ujjain for the wedding: Kota Police

According to the reports, people of the car were going to a wedding. The car was then retrieved with the help of a crane by the police and the administration who reached the spot.

It was also reported that the deceased people were part of a Wedding ‘Baraat’ which was going from Kota to Barwara.
