New Delhi, Sept 2: Raju Srivastava, a comedian who has been receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after suffering a heart arrest, has shown a slight recovery. The source additionally disclosed that the comedian is still on a ventilator and being monitored.
On August 10, the 58-year-old stand-up comedian who was admitted to AIIMS after experiencing chest trouble while running on a treadmill in a gym collapsed. He had been rushed to the hospital by his trainer. The same day, he had an angioplasty. When Srivastava went into cardiac arrest, he was in Delhi to meet with some state leaders.
His younger brother had earlier posted a video message detailing his health. Deep Srivastava, the brother of Srivastava, debunked the death rumours in the video and thanked his admirers for their prayers.
“He is a fighter and will soon come back winning the battle and will entertain everyone with his comedy,” he said.
