Ramgarh, Nov 13: To curb illegal liquor in Ramgarh district, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra, a team formed by Assistant Commissioner excise Ajay Kumar Gond conducted intensive raids against illegal liquor in different areas of the district.
On Sunday morning, Assistant Sub-Inspector Manzoor Alam conducted a raid in the Garbandh area under the Ramgarh police station, in the Jungle area near the water tank and Damodar river. During the raid, about 600 kg of Java Mahua in 30 earthen pots were seized and destroyed, while further action is being taken in this regard.
