Ramgarh, Dec 13: In order to completely stop the illegal sand mining in Ramgarh district, strict action were taken against the culprits on Tuesday.
On the instructions of the Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra, a surprise raid was conducted by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Mohammad Javed Hussain at Panki Damodar river ghat in the Kuju police station area under Mandu block.
In this sequence, during the investigation campaign conducted in the Kuju police station area, five tractors operating illegally were seized.
District Mining Inspector Vinod Bihari Pramanik, Ramgarh Police station in-charge Dhananjay Prasad and others were present in the investigation team.
