Ramgarh: A board meeting of the Ramgarh Cantonment Board was convened at the Cantt board meeting hall on Friday.

Cantt nominated member Keerty Gaurav was present. Decisions were taken on many public interest issues in the meeting, as well as the problems being faced by the employees working in the Cantt Board (Permanent and Contract) regarding the outstanding salary and payment of salary could also be resolved.

Cantonment’s nominated member Keerty Gaurav made the point of appointing volunteers and conducting surveys in each ward because every ward has different requirements and work should also be done according to the requirement.

The Government of India has given the facility of e-Chhavni portal for the digitization of each cantonment. The board has also appealed to the public that it can take advantage of a 2% discount by making all their payments on the e-portal, as well as the cost of handling cash. 1% fee waiver can also be availed.

The DA and DR of employees and pensioners have also been increased. A proposal to set up a sewage treatment plant in Bijulia Talab will also be passed after ward and cantonment surveys and also to strengthen it from the point of view of security.

When it comes to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, this time the Cantt Board will be able to benefit 207 beneficiaries.  98 maps have also been given permission for construction.  More than 200 people have registered in the newly created vegetable market.

The meeting was presided over by Brigadier M Shri Kumar, and conducted by Cantt Chief Executive Officer M Sudam Harivijay.
