Ramgarh: Daly Payla to be developed as tourist spot

Ramgarh, Aug 21: The district administration has started the initiative to develop Daly Payla, a center of faith located in Godatu village of Dulmi block under Ramgarh district, as a tourist spot.

Dulmi block twenty-point president Sudhir Mangalesh has said the local MLA Mamta Devi had talked of the issue in the assembly during the last session on the demand of the villagers of the area.  She had stated that by developing it as a tourist place, the center of faith will be protected along with added employment opportunities for the people in the surrounding areas.

After reaching Daly Payla, located in the hills of Godatu and Ichatu, there is a feeling of amazing power as well as a feeling of coolness and purification of mind.

Talking of Daly Payla, elders state that during the British Raj, Chinese soldiers were provided army training here. The war exercise was done by Daly Payla. When attacked several rounds were fired, even cannons were discharged, but not a single shell exploded here.

Mukhlal Mahto, Ramghrit Mahto, Shambhu Mahto, Punit Mahto, Mahtab Rahi, Chotan Kumar, Utam Kumar, Shiv Kumar, Paran Kumar, among others were present on the occasion.
