Ramgarh, June 29:  A farmer died of electrocution on Wednesday morning in Betul khurd village in Ramgarh. The deceased Kurban Ansari, son of Dilawar Ansari, had gone to the field in the morning to irrigate his crops.

Electric water pump was being installed in the well for irrigation. In order to give electricity connection to the pump, he held the heater coil (wire) in his hand. He fell to the ground as soon as he got electrocuted. This caused a serious injury to his head. During this, the wire remained in contact with his body.

Other farmers who went to the field saw him lying on the ground. After this, the body of the farmer was lifted by removing the wire. The information about the incident was reported to the Gola police station.
