After a dispute between the AJSU leaders and the MLA representative on Sunday over the installation of a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel near the bypass flyover, the district administration has taken the matter seriously.

On Monday, CI Rajaram Singh Munda, on the instructions of the SDO and CO, banned the access of both parties to the disputed site. One party is claiming ownership of the land where the statue was to be installed whereas MP CP Choudhary said that land was given by the NHAI to install the statue.
