Ramgarh, Dec 7: To curb illegal liquor in the district, a team formed by Excise Assistant Commissioner Ajay Kumar Gond on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra conducted a raid on Wednesday.
A team led by assistant sub-inspector Manzoor Alam raided in Mandai Tola and Tipla areas under Bhurkunda and Patratu police stations. Around 20 litres of bootleg liquor was seized and 200 kg of Java Mahua was destroyed in the raid. One person was arrested and further action is being taken as per the officials.
