Ramgarh, Sept 30: District police and Ranchi ATS team have arrested Raju Sharma, the shooter of the dreaded Aman Srivastava gang.
In a press conference at Ramgarh district police headquarters on Thursday evening, Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey said they received a tip-off about Kumar Shivendra alias Shiv Sharma alias Raju Sharma, who is the shooter of the Aman Srivastava gang, was living at a secret place in Patna. He is the absconding accused of Mandu police station case number 263/21.
A police team was formed under the leadership of the Ramgarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer and the Ranchi ATS went to Patna on September 28 to investigate the matter. The team conducted raids at several possible hideouts in Bihar to nab the culprit and Raju was caught.
Raju Sharma is a resident of Shivri, Thana Chiria, District Begusarai, Bihar. The police arrested and brought him to Ramgarh.
During interrogation, he admitted to being a shooter of the Aman Srivastava faction and that he carried out several incidents in Ramgarh, Patratu and Khalari for the gang. Police have recovered 3 mobiles, and an ATM Visa card from the accused.
The SP said that the accused Kumar Shivendra has a long criminal history. Many cases are registered against him including Mandu, Patratu, Lalpur, and Ghosi. He was involved in the murder of Sushil Srivastava’s killer and Pandey gang shooter Raja Singh near Gaya court and two other active members of the Pandey gang, Dilip Gupta, in Begusarai and Jeetu Gupta in Palamu’s Panki.
