Ramgarh, May 14: Teachers assigned to examine JAC’s intermediate board exam answer sheets at the Copy Evaluation Center Gandhi Memorial Plus Two School Ramgarh have boycotted their work.

A letter has also been sent to the President of JAC informing him of the boycott.

The reason behind the boycott is that the council has mandated the evaluation rate of Rs 10 per copy and 70 copies each day to be seen, according to Prof. Alok Kumar, vice-president of the Affiliated College Federation in Jharkhand.

“Our demand is for Rs 20 per copy assessment and an order to evaluate 30 copies each day. Otherwise, the boycott of the evaluation process would continue,” he said.

The teachers informed the President of JAC about the situation by sending a signed letter. It has been urged in the plea that the previous order of maintaining the valuation rate of Rs 20 per copy and 30 copies per day be implemented. This must be done to conduct the evaluation task systematically.

Vice-President of the Affiliated College Federation Prof. Alok, Arun Kumar Singh, Prof NK Tiwari, Prof. Mahesh Prasad and others with a large number of teachers including Meena Chetan, Shashi Bala were present on the occasion.
