Ranchi, Dec.20: A CBI special court sentenced former CCL officer Dhanesh Prasad three years’ imprisonment for having disproportionate assets. Apart from imprisonment, the court also imposed a fine of Rs one lakh.
The court after trial concluded that Prasad acquired Rs 36 lakh more than his legitimate source of income and convicted him for the same.
The prosecution produced as many as 41 witnesses in the case.
