Ranchi celebrates Makar Sankranti with Surya Namaskar

Ranchi, Jan 14: A total of 75 lakh group Surya Namaskars were conducted under the direction of the Ministry of AYUSH and National Yogasana Sports Federation in the celebration of the Makar Sankranti Surya Upasana festival.

The event was organised as part of the 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Under the joint aegis of Commando Defense Academy and Yogasana Sports Association of Jharkhand, this program was extensively organized in the College Ground of Ranchi.

In this program, YSAJ state president Sanjay Singh, secretary Vipin Pandey, Ishwar Chandra from the Patanjali family, social worker Munchun Roy, state coordinator Prahlad Bhagat were present.

 

 

Rohit Kumar was felicitated by YSAJ State President Sanjay Singh with mementoes for organizing the program and all those who attended the program were also given T-shirts by the association. YSAJ members Santoshi Kumari, Shankar Rana, Vikas Gop, Chaitali Mukherjee, Prashant Singh, Dr S.K. Ghoshal, Jagdish Singh, Vicky Kumar and all were cartels.

State coordinator Arya Prahlad Bhagat said that this program was done completely following the rules of Covid-19. Everyone did Surya Namaskar 13 times and resolved to do yoga daily.
