Ranchi, April 21: In an incident of broad day loot, motorcycle-borne miscreants looted Rs 70,000 cash at gunpoint from a finance company worker Azhar Ansari near Upper Konki Panchayat under Pithoragarh police station area today.
Ansari was returning to his office in Ranchi town when the miscreants intercepted him to commit the crime.
An FIR has been registered in this connection.
This is the third incident of loot within 10 days in the area. Earlier, on April 12, Rs.42,000 and on April 18, Rs. 62,000 had been looted.
