Ranchi police recover body of missing man from Harmu rivulet

Ranchi, Dec 1: The Ranchi police on Thursday recovered a body from the Harmu rivulet under the Chutia police station area of the city.

The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Dwarkapuri Road No 8 in Chutia. He had left his house yesterday evening.

People noticed the body in the morning and informed the police. A probe has been started by the police to ascertain the reason behind the man’s death.

An FIR is yet to be registered in this connection. The body was sent for autopsy to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
