Ranchi police seize 1000 bottles of cough syrup kept to supply drug addicts

Ranchi, Dec.18: Police arrested two with over 1000 bottles of cough syrup besides capsules and tablets stored to supply drug addicts at Anandmayi Nagar under Ratu police station area.

Those arrested include Sanu Kumar and Roshan Kumar. Both are residents of Jhakhratand in the same police station area.

The breakthrough came after senior police superintendent S.K.Jha shared the information he received regarding the business of drugs in the city with S.P. (rural) Naushad Alam.

Drug addicts often use cough syrup and the duo used to supply them after storing them illegally, S.P. (rural) Alam said sharing the breakthrough.
