Ranchi: Swachhta Pakhwada begins at NTPC Coal Mining HQ

Ranchi, May 16: Swachhta Pledge was administered in Hindi and English by Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director(Coal Mining) on Monday in the presence of heads of the department and other employees. It was observed as part of Swachhta Pakhwada-2022 at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi which began on May 16 and will continue till May 30, 2022.

The pledge emphasized on voluntarily devoting 100 hours per year and at least 2 hours per week by everyone to promoting cleanliness and encouraging others to get involved in Swachhta mission of making the country clean.

Various events and competitions, such as Best Clean Office Desk, Essay and Elocution competitions, cleanliness promotion by Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, and cleaning office premises, will be held during the fortnight-long cleanliness push.

On the occasion, Shri Mazumder urged all employees and family members to take part fully in the various competitions to make the event a success.
