Ranchi: Team 26 Batallion wins Inter-Batallion Football tournament

Ranchi, Sept 22: Team 26 Batallion defeated team 133 Batallion to win the Jharkhand Sector Inter Batallion Central Football Tournament 2022 held from Sept 19 to 21 in Ranchi.

CRPF Jharkhand sector organised the tournament where a total of 17 operational battalions and two major groups participated in taking a break from their regular work-life. The jawans played with full enthusiasm and gave their best to make their teams victorious.

 

 

The deputy inspector general rewarded players after the tournament in order to keep their morale high. He added that sports is an integral part of CRPF and it helps in achieving mental and physical strength along with helping an individual to be a team player. 

 

 

The CRPF jawans have been performing their duties extremely well as they recently reoccupied the naxal dominated Burha Pahad.
