Ranchi: The condition of Ranchi’s deteriorated roads is set to improve soon. The Road Construction Department has started repair work on damaged city roads, aiming to complete the task before August 15. Major routes such as Ratu Road Chowk to HEC Gate, Morhabadi Peripheral Road, Karamtoli to Ormanjhi Road, and Ram Mandir to DC Residence are currently under repair. Commuters troubled by potholes and broken stretches can expect relief shortly.

Key Roads Undergoing Repair

Officials confirmed that work on several important roads has already begun. These include some of the city’s busiest thoroughfares where potholes and damaged sections have made daily travel difficult. The department is working on a war footing to ensure these issues are resolved ahead of Independence Day.

Wider Repair Plan in Place

In addition to the priority routes, authorities have identified several other dilapidated roads across the city. Repairs on those stretches will also begin soon. The department’s goal is to improve as many roads as possible by August 15 to ensure smoother and safer transportation for Ranchi’s residents.
