Reliance Jio 5G rolls out in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad and 49 other cities

New Delhi, Jan 24: Reliance Jio announced the rolling-out of its 5G services across 50 Indian cities in 17 states, including Jharkhand’s Dhanbad on Tuesday, making it the ‘largest ever’ launch. With this, Jio customers in a total of 184 Indian cities can now enjoy the services of Jio 5G.

Dhanbad city in Jharkhand now can enjoy Jio True 5G services. The company will invite Jio users from these cities to join the welcome offer where they will get to enjoy unlimited data experience at more than 1 Gbps speed.

In a statement by Reliance Jio, the telecom company said that it has become the first and the only operator to launch 5G services in most of these cities.

“This is by far one of the largest rollouts of 5G services, not just in India, but anywhere in the world. We have stepped up the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the nation because we want every Jio user to enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in the new year 2023. The entire nation will be able to enjoy and benefit from Jio True 5G services by December 2023,” a Jio spokesperson commenting on the launch of the Jio True 5G services in the 50 cities today.

We are grateful to the State governments of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal for their continuous support our quest to digitize every region,” added the company.

Theses 50 more Indian cities include, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
