Mumbai, March 17:The upcoming movie Sharmaji Namkeen will be the late actor Rishi Kapoor’s last appearance on the screen. On Thursday, the first trailer for the film was released. Paresh Rawal finished the parts of the film that were remaining to be shot following Rishi’s death in 2020. In the end, both actors play Sharmaji in the film.
Sharmaji is a recently retired middle-class man looking for new interests. His boys advise him to try yoga, zumba, or learn to drive. Sharmaji, on the other hand, has a natural talent for cooking. Soon after, he meets three women looking for a cook for their satsang event, which turns out to be a little scandalous kitty party.
The film also stars Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia the film will be out on March 31.
