Patna, July 6: The RJD Supremo has been evacuated to New Delhi on Wednesday where he has been taken to AIIMS, days after former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was hospitalised with severe injuries.
The former chief minister of Bihar, who has been residing at his wife Rabri Devi’s house, slipped while ascending the stairs earlier this week. He was taken to the hospital right away, when it was discovered that he had fractured his shoulder and hurt his back.
The 74-year-old RJD chief’s status is reportedly stable, according to the party. A top RJD official informed PTI that Lalu Yadav is receiving medical attention and is being closely watched by several physicians.
