RPF saves on-duty railway employee from accident at Ranchi station

Ranchi, Sept 1: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) saved the life of an on-duty TTE after he slipped and went between the gap of the train and the platform while boarding Train No. 18622 Patliputra Express on Wednesday night.

The TTE Ram Kishore Jha was trying to board the moving train that left Ranchi station at 10.40 pm. Meanwhile, RPF staff Manoj Kumar, Sikandar Gopal and RPF crime branch ASI SK Gupta saw the TTE being dragged and by taking quick action, saved his life by dragging him toward the platform.

As per sources, Jha suffered minor injuries and his condition is fine.
