New Delhi, Jan 28: The Prime Minister’s Office has convened a meeting with officials from the Railways on Friday to evaluate the examination process in the wake of a growing number of protests against the Railway Recruitment Board’s recent test for Non Technical Popular Categories Exam (RRB NTPC).
The PMO officials are expected to discuss the hiring method used by Railways to fill the vacancies at the evening meeting. According to reports, the PMO is particularly interested in the 2004 recruitment process.
Several students in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have protested regarding the RRB NTPC exam, claiming that the selection process is prejudiced against hopefuls with lower qualifications.
