Moscow, March 7: The Russian military on Monday declares ceasefire in four cities of Ukraine namely Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy and Mariupol.
The ceasefire will come into effect at 10 am Moscow time (12.30 pm IST). A cease-fire has been declared to allow civilians to flee the four Ukrainian cities. Several humanitarian corridors in Ukraine have been announced by the Russian army.
Earlier on Saturday, Russia’s defence ministry announced a ceasefire to allow residents of two besieged cities namely Mariupol and Volnovakha to evacuate.
