Ladakh: Bollywood star Salman Khan, currently filming his war drama Battle of Galwan in Ladakh, surprised followers with a heartfelt post applauding 15-year-old American singer Jonas Conner. Sharing Conner’s photo on Instagram and X, the actor praised the teenager for “turning pain into something beautiful” and revealed that tracks like Father in a Bible, Peace with Pain, and Oh Appalachia are on his current playlist.
A Call To Nurture Talent, Not Exploit It
Alongside his endorsement, Salman encouraged fans to back young artists without taking advantage of them. “If we don’t support such kids, then what’s the point? Brothers and sisters, there are many like this here as well—encourage them, don’t exploit them,” he wrote, highlighting the need to create a safe space for emerging performers.
Focus On Battle of Galwan Shoot
Even while advocating for budding musicians, Salman continues work on Battle of Galwan, in which he portrays Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, the Indian Army officer who died during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Recently, he shared behind-the-scenes photos showcasing a rugged look for the film’s climax sequence, fuelling anticipation among fans.
