New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its order in a case related to non-publication of criminal records related to candidates by political parties in Bihar elections. The petitioner had appealed in the SC that many political parties have not shared the information of their candidates. In such a situation, action should be taken against them.

During the hearing in the Supreme Court, Election Commission’s lawyer Harish Salve said that there is a need for large-scale discussion to bring about a comprehensive change in the politics of the country. Said that the eyes of all the political parties are only on winning the elections. During the hearing, the Supreme Court said that the legislature is not expected to take any decision to stop such things. The court remarked that if the candidate comes out of jail and contests the election, he will win the election as he can kill anyone. In such a situation, we all should look at the larger issue.
Action should be taken against these political parties

In such a situation, action should be taken on these political parties, other political parties should also be investigated. Congress, NCP, BSP and CPI(M) tender an apology before the Supreme Court
According to reports, Congress, NCP, BSP and CPI(M) have apologized before the Supreme Court in this matter, in which they have expressed regret for not disclosing the information of their candidates. The NCP has told the court that they have started action against their state unit, while the BSP says that it is taking action against the candidates.
Know that according to an old order of the Supreme Court, if any criminal case is registered against any candidate contesting the election.
