SE Railway to restore MEMU train services from May 2

Jamshedpur, April 29: South Eastern Railway ( SER ) has decided to restore the services of  MEMU trains with effect from  May 2.

According to a circular issued by Garden Reach, the Kolkata based headquarters of South Eastern Railway on Friday the 08651 Barabhum-Asansol MEMU will leave Barabhum daily at 6.50 pm and will reach Adra at 8.35 pm. In the return direction, 08652 Asansol-Barabhum MEMU will depart Asansol daily at 3.05 pm and will reach Barabhum at 6.25 pm

08651 Barabhum-Asansol MEMU will be short terminated at Adra for operational reasons.

The 08657 Adra-Asansol MEMU will leave Adra daily at 7 am and will reach Asansol at 8.10 am.

The 08173 Asansol-Tatanagar MEMU will leave Asansol daily at 8.25 am and will reach Tatanagar at 1.30 pm.

In the return direction, 08174 Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU will depart Tatanagar daily at 8.25 am and will reach Asansol at 1.30 pm.

The services of the MEMU trains were withdrawn because of the Covid- 19 induced pandemic.
