Ranchi: Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi has described the recent joint anti-Naxal operation in the Saranda forests as a significant success, saying security forces neutralised more than 11 Naxals, including a top commander carrying a reward of ₹1 crore.
Praise for Joint Security Operation
Marandi said the operation carried out by COBRA Battalion, CRPF, and Jharkhand Police reflects exemplary courage, bravery, and professional commitment of the forces. He congratulated the personnel involved, stating that the operation demonstrated strong coordination and determination against left-wing extremism.
Centre’s Resolve to Eliminate Naxalism
He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the central government is moving steadily towards its goal of completely eradicating Naxalism by March 2026. According to Marandi, sustained operations like this will help restore peace and ensure development in affected regions.
