Security forces gun down six naxals along Chhattisgarh-Telangana border

Raipur, Dec 27: Six Naxals have been killed in an encounter that took place in the forest area of Kistaram PS limit in the border area of Telangana and Chhattisgarh on Monday.

“It’s a joint operation of Telangana Police, Chhattisgarh Police, and the CRPF,” said Sunil Dutt, SP of Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

According to the reports, the anti-Naxal operation was still ongoing as of 10 a.m., and police teams were monitoring the evolving situation in the area. In Telangana, a battle was raging between the Telangana Grey Hounds and the Naxals.

The clashes took place between the Telangana Grey Hounds and the Naxals, according to the police. The news comes just hours after police recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district.

The IEDs were planted in the district to target security personnel involved in anti-Naxal operations.
