Security forces recover eight IEDs in Chaibasa

Ranchi, Nov 1: Security forces engaged in an anti-naxal operation in the forests of Jharkhand today once again foiled the ugly attempt of Maoists to blow the former in the Chaibasa area. The success came after the security personnel detected as many as eight IEDs joined in series and diffused them. The IEDs were planted under the ground.

Earlier on October 31, the security personnel detected and neutralized as many as 213 IEDs.

Apart from this, the security personnel also recovered a total of 20 weapons which included Insas, 3o3 and 315-bore rifles among others. They also recovered over 800 live rounds of fire and a total of 41 handmade grenades. They also recovered binoculars and Global Positioning Systems.
