SER to run two Navratri special trains

Jamshedpur, March 23: In an attempt to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Navratri festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Navratri Special trains between Jharsuguda – Khurda Road and Bangriposi – Khurda Road.

08001/08002 Jharsuguda – Khurda Road – Jharsuguda Navratri Special (One pair)

08001 Jharsuguda – Khurda Road Special will leave Jharsuguda at 5.45 pm on March 24 and will reach Khurda Road at 5.20 am on the next day.

In the return direction, 08002 Khurda Road – Jharsuguda Special will leave Khurda Road at 5 pm hrs on March 25 and will arrive Jharsuguda at 7.50 am on the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Bagdehi, Bamra, Garposh, Rajgangpur, Rourkela, Bisra, Monoharpur, Goelkera, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa, Dangoaposi, Banspani, Kendujhargarh, Harichandanpur, Sukinda Road, Jakhapura, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar stations enroute.

 

08003/08004 Bangriposi – Khurda Road – Bangriposi Navratri Special (One pair)

08003 Bangriposi – Khurda Road Special will leave Bangiposi at 9.30 pm on March 24 and will reach Khurda Road at 4.35 am on the next day.

In the return direction, 08004 Khurda Road – Bangriposi Special will leave Khurda Road at 12.50 am on March 26 and will arrive Bangriposi at 7.45  am, the same day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Rajalukah, Bhanjpur, Baripada, Betnoti, Rupsa,  Balasore, Soro, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road,  Cuttack and Bhubaneswar stations enroute.

Notably, this is for the first time that the South Eastern Railway has decided to run Navratri special trains to clear the extra passengers.
