Ranchi, June 22: A seventh JPSC candidate Niharika Rani filed a writ petition in the Jharkhand High Court challenging its result.
In her petition, she stated that the merit list of the seventh JPSC exam was released in May 2022. Later, the marks statement of the candidates was issued. The marks statement suggested that she secured more than the cut-off marks in his prescribed category but was not selected.
The ground for her rejection was her caste certificate, which was issued by the central government instead of the state government. She through her petition submitted that no objection was raised by the recruitment agency during certificate verification and she was given an opportunity to appear in the interview but was finally not selected.
High Court advocates Hemant Shikarwar and Jagat Narayan will appear on behalf of the petitioner.
