New Delhi, May 30: A suspect in the murder of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala has been apprehended in Uttarakhand on Monday. A joint Punjab and Uttarakhand police squad detained the suspect as he was hiding among pilgrims on the Hemkund Sahib yatra in the mountains, they said, adding that the man is now being transported to Punjab.
According to authorities, the man apprehended today in Dehradun is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has claimed responsibility for the singer’s murder.
Earlier, five more suspects have been detained from Uttarakhand. They are all being sent to Punjab.
