Jamshedpur, Aug 24: Kolhan’s largest traders outfit – The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( SCCI) on Tuesday organised a Udyam Registration or MSME Registration camp at the Chambers Bhawan in Bistupur on Tuesday.
The camp which kicked off at 10 am and continued till 2 pm witnessed a good turnout of traders who wanted to get MSME Registration.
Udyam Registration also known as MSME Registration is a government registration process of traders that is provided along with a recognition certificate and a unique number.
Udyam Registration certifies small/medium businesses and enterprises. The owner, director, or proprietor of the entity is provided with his/her 12-digit Aadhaar Number.
The Union government introduced the Udyam Registration in July this year.
Vice- president of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vijay Anand Moonka said, ” The camp got a very good response from traders. As many as 59 traders got their registration at the camp.”
He went on to say that they would organise more such camps in the days to come.
” Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file Udyam Registration online in the Udyam Registration portal,” he added.
Several members of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry were present at the camp to inform and assist the traders for MSME Registration.
