Ranchi, April 2: The seven-day placement drive that was organised by the Marwari College for the IT company Accenture and was extended till April 2 ended on Saturday. The drive had also invited another company ‘Deccan I Services’ that invited students of Sciences, including Biotechnology, Zoology & CND.
Students from these streams with excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) that had passed in the year 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 were invited to apply for the 10 posts available
Students who met the eligibility criteria had to submit their CVs at Marwari College Placement Cell Ranchi from March 29 to April 1, 2022 between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Applicants selected will have flexible work hours in any shift across 24 hours. Tentative date of campus drive for the company is April 2.
Deccan I Services selected a total of six students out of 27 students from the Department of Biotechnology and CND that participated in the process.
The process of selection was completed in two parts. Initially, 11 students were successfully selected in the first stage of written examination. In the second phase, six students were successful including Prem, Ashukant, Pallavi, Shreya, Kanchan and Sakshi.
The proposal letter was handed over to the selected six by Dr. AS Khalkho, Dean of Science Department.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor Kamini Kumar, Principal Dr Manoj Kumar and Placement Coordinator Dr RR Sharma encouraged the students and appreciated the placement cell.
