New Delhi, June 12: Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, has been hospitalised to Delhi’s Ganga Ram Hospital with Covid problems. She is said to be in stable condition and will be monitored at the hospital.
Randeep Singh Surjewala, the General Secretary of the Indian National Congress, also tweeted that she would be kept under monitoring in the hospital.
“Wish the respected Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji a very speedy and full recovery. This is the prayer of lakhs of Congress workers,” The All India Mahila Congress tweeted.

On Wednesday, June 1, Sonia Gandhi tested positive for Covid. She was summoned to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on June 8, but she requested an alternative date, after which she was summoned on June 23.
Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, has also been summoned to appear before the ED on Monday, June 13.
