Washington, Dec 5: Sony Pictures on Sunday released the first look teaser and title of the upcoming animated film ‘Spider Man: Across the Spider-Verse’.
This film is a sequel to 2018’s Oscar-winning animated superhero film, ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ and continues the story of the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”
With this film Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg are returning as producers and Alonzo Ruvalcaba is co-producing the film. Lord and Miller will also be credited as writers on the film, along with David Callaham. Spider-Verse director Peter Ramsey is also returning as an executive producer, alongside Aditya Sood.
The film is scheduled to release in theaters on October 7, 2022.
