Ranchi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that all pending SSC examinations will commence in the first week of September 2025. This follows technical issues and pattern changes in the CGL Tier-2 exam held on July 24, which caused difficulties for several candidates. Out of 11.50 lakh applicants, only around 5.50 lakh appeared for the test.

Revised Tests and Additional Opportunities

Responding to demands for a retest, the commission began a revised examination process on August 2, 2025, with over 8,000 candidates participating. Eligible candidates will get another chance on August 29. Additionally, a review of 55,000 candidates revealed login-related issues, and they have been given the option to reappear.

Important Dates and Instructions

The SSC has uploaded complete details regarding rescheduled exams, applications, and admit cards on its website. Candidates have been advised to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) between August 14 and August 31, 2025, to ensure timely issuance of admit cards.
