Ranchi, Dec 28: Stage is set for the New Year celebrations in Ranchi as clubs, restaurants and hotels of the district have prepared special nights on Dec 31 for the people visiting the spots.
With no new guidelines from the state government to regulate gatherings ahead of New Year, the restaurants, bars, lounges and hotels have stuck with the guidelines prescribed by the state government on Oct 30. According to the guidelines, the hotels can host guests at 50% of the total capacity.
Radisson Blu will host ‘Masquerade Night’ where the guests arriving have to wear a costume with a mask. Marketing and Sales head of Radisson Blu Devesh Kumar gave the information that couple entry is fixed at Rs 10,000.
“A total of 120 guests will be allowed in the premises following the Covid protocols and even the DJ is cancelled to maintain the social distancing between the guests. There will be unlimited food and drinks for the guests. Moreover, magicians and tattoo makers will be available for the kids.” Devesh said.
Ranchi Gymkhana Club will organise a live programme by DJ Punit for the members of the club. The club will also provide food and cocktails.
Focus Club Resort will only host families and couples till Jan 5 where they have organised a live performance by the singers to entertain the guests. The club has also prepared a special zone for kids.
Prana Lounge has brought a DJ from Bengaluru to entertain the guests arriving during the New Year. For couples, the charge is fixed at Rs 5,999 and for teenagers between 10 to 18 years of age Rs. 3,999 will be charged. Unlimited food and drinks are also available on the spot.
Kairo Bar and Lounge will have a fire show on the night of Dec 31 for which special teams have been called from Mumbai. The lounge has a minimum fee of Rs 8,000 depending on the table booked for the night.
