Shimla, Dec 11: Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu took the oath of office as Himachal Pradesh’s fifteenth chief minister in front of top party figures, at 1:30 pm on Sunday. Mukesh Agnihotri took oath as the deputy chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.

At the swearing-in event were Congressman Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, and Sachin Pilot, a former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan.

‘We are very happy’, said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra ahead of the oath-taking ceremony.
