In match no. 16, Group 2 of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 tournament, India and Pakistan will face each other on October 24. After 5 years, 7 months and 5 days in T20 cricket, both the teams will face each other at 7:30 pm today at Dubai International Cricket stadium.

India has a chance to beat Pakistan for the 13th time in a row by combining ODI and T20 World Cup. At the same time, Pakistan has a chance to get the first victory over India in the biggest tournament of the world.

Both the teams are in Group 12 and there are total 6 teams in this group. That is, a team has to win at least 4 out of five matches to reach the semi-finals without relying on the results of the other teams. For the team that loses in the India-Pakistan match, it can be a do or die match compared to the rest of the group stage.

Talking about the pitch, in IPL 2021 scores between 150 and 170 runs are made on the Dubai pitch. In Phase-2, 13 matches were played here. Of these, the team batting later won 9. At the same time, the team batting first got victory in only 4 matches. In this sense, the captain winning the toss in India-Pakistan match may prefer to field first.

Notably, India has defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup five times in a row. In international cricket too, the Indian team has performed far better than Pakistan. Past records and the performance in the warm-up matches are in the favor of India.
