Patna, Aug 12: Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, will meet Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, today. Tejashwi Yadav arrived in the city on Thursday night for Raksha Bandhan festivitival.
Additionally, he will meet with RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav to address the most recent events in Bihar. Notably, the floor test scheduled for the Bihar Assembly on August 24.
Tejashwi will be seeing Sonia Gandhi for the first time since Nitish Kumar returned to the Mahagathbandhan after leaving the BJP-led NDA and taking office in Bihar.
“It’s a natural alliance, not a deal. This is the real ‘Mahagathbandhan’ which was formed by Lalu Yadav Ji and Nitish Kumar. We welcomed Nitish Kumar’s decision and came together,” Tejashwi said.
