Vikarabad, July 3: Around 60 goats were killed in Telangana’s Vikarabad district after being struck by a train, the officials stated on Monday.
They stated that the event happened in the Dornal village, which is part of the Dharur Mandal of the Vikarabad district when the goats were crossing the railway tracks.
The goats were owned by a shepherd named Kishtappa, according to the authorities.
“60 goats were hit by a train while they were crossing tracks at Dornal village, Tharoor mandal today. 60 goats died on the spot,” said the officials.
The matter is being looked into more thoroughly.
