Mumbai, Jan 12: Titanic is coming back to theatres to celebrate its 25th anniversary in India. Titanic’s 25th-anniversary edition has been remastered in 3D 4K HDR with HFR (High Frame Rate) and will release on February 10 in theatres, just in time for Valentine’s day.
The tickets are yet to go on sale and are expected closer to the release date.
This isn’t the first time the epic film by James Cameron is getting a theatrical re-release. Titanic was first re-released in 3D in 2012 and once again on its 20th anniversary in 2017. Based on the real-life sinking of the RMS Titanic ship in 1912, Titanic will be re-released in theatres across India on February 10.
Sharing the new poster and trailer on social media, Paramount Pictures wrote, “Titanic returns to the big screen in 4K 3D for a limited time on February 10.”

The trailer has also been shared be 20th Century studios and has been getting massive responses.

Notably, Titanic is a cinematic masterpiece for many people across the world. The film was released on December 19, 1997, and went on to collect over $2 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of all time. It received 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Director and Visual Effects out of its 14 nominations.
Titanic is written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron. James wrote the film’s script in just 3 weeks, and the entire film was shot in under one year.
